Anew Home Care provides non-medical personal care, homemaking, and companionship in the comfort of your loved one's own home. Family-owned. IDPH-licensed. Serving Cook and DuPage counties.
Nina with Jan, whose care inspired Anew Home Care.
Anew Home Care, LLC is a licensed Illinois Home Services Agency serving elderly and disabled adults in their own private residences across the Chicago western suburbs.
We founded Anew because our own family lived the experience of caring for an aging loved one — and we saw firsthand what home care can be when it's done with warmth, honesty, and consistency.
Every client receives a personalized Service Plan built around their specific needs, preferences, and daily routines. Services can be combined and adjusted as needs change.
Hands-on assistance with the activities of daily living, delivered with respect for dignity and privacy.
Help around the home so your loved one can stay comfortable, safe, and independent in the place they know best.
Meaningful companionship and safety monitoring — because staying connected is just as important as staying safe.
Every choice we made when founding Anew was in service of one thing: giving families confidence that their loved ones are safe, respected, and cared for by real people who they know.
Licensed by the Illinois Department of Public Health as a Home Services Agency, in full compliance with 77 Ill. Adm. Code 245.
Our caregivers are our employees — not gig workers or contractors. We handle their taxes, workers' comp, training, and supervision.
Every direct-care worker passes an IDPH fingerprint-based background check and is verified on the Health Care Worker Registry before their first shift.
Every caregiver completes a professional training program that meets Illinois Department of Public Health standards — personal care, dementia awareness, safety, infection control, and abuse prevention — before their first client visit. Plus 10 hours of ongoing annual training, every year.
$1M per occurrence General & Professional Liability, $25,000 Dishonesty Bond, plus Cyber Liability. Full protection for your loved one and their property.
24/7 phone coverage. When you call, you reach a real person — often the Administrator herself. No phone trees, no waiting.
I've spent the last 17 years running a small business in Oak Park. I've also cared personally for someone I loved deeply — a dear friend of our family named Jan — so I understand what it feels like to try to balance a life of your own with the responsibility of making sure someone you love is safe.
Anew is my full-time work. When you call our number, you're calling me directly. Every caregiver we place has completed a professional training program that meets Illinois Department of Public Health standards, plus ongoing annual training every year they work with us — and I'm personally accountable for supervising their care.
Anew Home Care was inspired in part by the years I spent caring for Jan, a dear friend of the family. That relationship shapes how we train our caregivers and how we treat every client and every family that trusts us.

We build a Service Plan tailored to your family. You approve everything before we start — no surprises, no hidden fees.
We match your loved one with a caregiver whose personality and skills fit. We introduce them personally. Care begins.
Non-medical home care covers help with daily living — bathing, dressing, meals, companionship. It does not include skilled nursing, wound care, IV therapy, or physical/occupational therapy. If your loved one needs skilled medical services, we'll help you find a licensed home health agency alongside our care.
Our rates are competitive with market standards for non-medical home care in the Chicago western suburbs and vary by service type (personal care, homemaker, or companion), frequency, and whether visits are during standard hours, weekends, or holidays. There's no charge for the initial consultation or in-home assessment. After your assessment, we provide a written Service Agreement with itemized pricing so you know exactly what to expect on your invoice — no hidden fees, no surprises.
We are a private-pay agency. Medicare does not cover non-medical home care. We can assist with billing paperwork for approved long-term care insurance policies — call us and we'll walk you through it.
Every caregiver we place has passed a fingerprint-based IDPH background check, is verified on the Illinois Health Care Worker Registry, and has completed a professional training program that meets IDPH standards before their first client visit — plus ongoing annual training every year. All caregivers are W-2 employees, personally supervised by our Licensed Administrator every 60–90 days, and we carry a $25,000 dishonesty bond to protect our clients' property.
Absolutely. You can adjust the type, frequency, or hours of care at any time — usually with a simple phone call. Either party can terminate services with 14 days written notice. This is your loved one's care, and you're always in charge of it.
Just tell us. Personality and rapport matter more than we can measure on paper. If a match doesn't feel right, we'll place a different caregiver — no explanation needed and no charge for the change.
We're building Anew Home Care around one belief: great care starts with well-treated caregivers. If you share that belief and want to work for an agency where you'll actually know the owner, we'd love to hear from you.
We're recruiting caregivers throughout Cook and DuPage counties. All positions are W-2 with paid training.
Reach out for a free, no-pressure consultation. We'll answer your questions and help you figure out the right next step — whether that's care from Anew or a different kind of support entirely.
